Lionviper Origin
Snakes, there some of the world’s most deadly animals. The name strikes fear into a person. Lions, the rulers of the savannah. They live with pride, courage, and family. Both are two of the world’s greatest hunters. I ended up becoming both. It all started one faithfully evening.
I was walking somewhere. Maybe it was my home. Till a man stepped in front of me. I saw determination in his eyes and knew he wasn't moving. Not only that I saw the face of evil. I ran as fast as I could. He chased after me for a good three minutes. Until he caught me. I tried so hard to get away from him. Screaming, shouting, but no one seemed to hear me.
He punched me into his black van and then tied me to a handle in his car. I don't remember how long we rode but I know it was awhile. When we got to our destination he took to this...this place. I think it was lab. He kept me locked up. He did countless experiments and surgeries on me. I hardly remember them. It was only the last few that are the ones I can remember and they were painful. Nothing could describe the pain of it all. All I can say is it was worse than any pain you ever want to feel. I think that's what messed up my memories. So much pain...I can still remember. Why do I have to remember the pain?
Sooner or later I snapped. My patience, my temper, it all boiled over. I my cell I didn't know what I had become but, I used what did know. Instinct, animal instinct. I had become very flexible as if I had no bones. I easily slipped between the bars of my prison. It was dark in the halls. I could see though;I could see very well. I could hear better and feel vibrations on the ground. He was working in his lab again. I headed in that direction. When I got in lab I let out a low hiss.
"Oh no," he began as I walked toward him," you...um... have escaped I see." He was stumbling over equipment. Broken glass and everything but I still walked toward him with bare feet.
"Stay...stay back you BEAST."
Beast? That really ticked me off. I picked him up off the ground by his neck."Beast? BEAST! You made me into this! What were you trying to do with me?"
"I was trying to see if I could turn humans into natural hunters. Mixing two of the greatest hunters known to the jungles. I have made you 40% percent lion 40% snake and you are still 20% human."
"Are you telling me that you've turned me into a humanoid?" I growled while tightening my grip on his throat more.
He started to bleed in the areas of my nails. In anger I threw him across the room and let out a mighty roar. I walked over to him and without a second thought, I slit his throat. I ran through the building using my senses and eventually found the way out. When I got out the first thing I saw was a beach. Behind it a jungle. I ran toward the waters splashing in. I finally saw what I looked like.
My face was stained with blood and so were my hands. My teeth had sharpened to a point, my pupils were split, senses were keener, I had taste for meat, and my hair was longer. I couldn't believe the imagine I was seeing. I let out a low growl of agony. I didn't know where else to go so fled into the jungle.
In later weeks I made it to a small village and found out I was in the heart of Brazil. While I was in the village I noticed many of the families. How they laughed and smiled with each other. Something told me that I had family. I can feel it in my bones. I also felt like the necklace on my neck was a link to them. It's the only thing I can remember having from them. I lived in the village for about a year and a half. I thought the world didn't know me anymore. Well I thought. A strange looking man approached me while a I was hunting.
"Who are you? Why did come here," I asked mostly for protective reasons.
This man explained that he knew where I came from and who was my family. He wanted me to join him. He promised me that he would tell me who I was. "To most I am know as LionViper," I told him. He said he already knew. He said I'd find out who I was as long as I follow him. It took a few seconds but the word
"Agreed," fell from my mouth.
