Supernatural Separation Father: Chapter 5-8
Chapter 5: Questions & Answers
I did not awake as early as usually but I awoke in my room. For once it seemed quite all but the birds chirping. Was everything that night just a dream? Or was I dreaming now in bed? I looked around my room with sunlight coming in through the window. Nothing.
I got up and got dressed, braided my hair into two tails, and what not. I opened my room door and crept down the hall. Everything just seemed too quite. It was never quite. I did like Garreth said and remained vigilant. Just as I made it to the living space I felt someone's eyes on me. I whipped around to find nothing my senses were a bit off though. Daddy grabbed me from behind and hugged me tightly. It took me a few seconds to release it and properly return the squeeze.
"I missed you so much." He whispered in my ear.
"I missed you too. Promise me you won't leave again."
"I won't I promise." After which he kissed me on the cheek and released his grip.
"Apples, milk, and can I have the goat?" He said trying to be funny. I smirked.
"I don't think Uncle Frank would want that and neither would Enoch. How about eggs instead?"
"Sounds good to me." Over into our very small dining area we went. Well it wasn't really an area just a table, a few chairs, and the fire place. It was a nice breakfast. The first one I had in seven years with father. It felt amazing. He still asked for Enoch the whole time though I knew he would not do it. After breakfast I wanted to go wash up but daddy grabbed my hand and sat me back down.
"I know you have a lot of questions."
"Ok first where were you?"
"Many different places honestly. I did not keep track much. I know I went to Jothena and then there was Unrednoch-"
"Why?" I cut him short.
"So I could learn to control myself. So that I could not hurt you or anyone else. I met a man named Josh who showed me how to control myself. Then his brother Cain showed me how to keep control. I went through trial and error everywhere I went. I met people, saw things, and even learned a thing or two but it all came down to the main reason why I did it. I did it for us, our family."
"How... how do you control yourself?" I felt like I was going to regret it.
"Think about who you really are. Your emotions, your intellect, your imagination, everything that makes you who you are. Then focus on just everything around you. Like you have never gone through the transformation, like nothing has happened. Finally focus on the main thing that drives you everyday of your life and always stay calm. Your heart controls who you are."
"One more thing at least today. Do you know where mummy is?"
"No, I wish I could say different."

Chapter 6: A Day With Daddy
Well those were some depressing words. All Uncle Frank told me was that she went left. daddy could see the sad look on my face.
"Hey cheer up. I am sure she will pop up soon." He always gave encouraging words to anyone who needed it.
"You know where I want to go?"
"Where?"
"Down to the Great Tri-River."
The Great Tri-River was the largest river in the area. It ran through three kingdoms counting ours.
"That old place? I've seen that river now it's full of dirt and decaying plants."
"It was full of snakes and bears and everything else that was actually dangerous to your safety."
"I was at the least three when you last took me."
"My point rest." He said with a grin across his face.
"What point have you made?"
"That I took you down there when it was five times as dangerous as it is now. Yet today you won't go there because of a few gruesome things."
At that moment he had gotten up from sit and was about to leave the room.
"Are you trying to say that I am scared to go to the river?"
He stopped, turned around, and chuckled lowly."Maybe a little bit."
He made a gesture with his hand to show his little he meant. We stood there for a few seconds in silence.
"Daddy."
"Yes?"
"Race you there." A smile went across both our faces as we bolted out the like young children.
Naturally he was ahead at first. As we ran we got closer and closer to the main streets of the kingdom we could see the many people. We quickly went through the crowd but as I went through the crowd I got separated. I did not Daddy anywhere. I needed to know where he was. I was coming up on a group of market booths and quickly thought of an idea. I jumped upon about three crates and jumped on the roof of the booths.
I could see over the crowds of men, women, and children. I searched all throughout the crowds and found nothing. At least until I looked up. Daddy had jumped up upon the rooftops of the houses. He turned and stared me straight in the eyes then oddly pointed downward. I looked in that exact direction and realized the roofs were ending for me. I jumped down swiftly remembering to bend my knees. We were now just passed the town square. Still running up upon the roofs Daddy looked like he was not breaking a sweat. Just then I heard something I did not want to hear.
A horse and carriage was coming faster than I was running. I was not exactly sure what to do then I hit me. The pair was about to hit me but I slid under smoothly like butter. Cannot do that with a dress now can you? I jumped back up. The crowds were dimming down. That meant we were getting closer and Daddy's advantage was running out. I could see the river about twenty-five yards away. In looked up and just as I said there was one more house left for him. I looked at him he looked at me and I smiled pointing downward. Incredibly he jumped and landed in his feet from about a two story height. As we approached the river I could hear the water flowing. Then I realized I was ahead. That is when I ran my fastest. I was almost there I thought I was home free then the unexpected happened. Daddy ran straight into me and we both crashed in the river.
"Ewww! Disgusting!" Daddy just laughed.
"Tie?"
"Definitely a tie."

Chapter 7: Life Is Short
We had an amazing day and were walking back to Uncle Frank's. Best I had in years.
"That was absolutely astounding how you jumped down those buildings!"
"Not as astounding as you sliding under that horse. That was absolutely wonderful to see." We both shared a laugh.
"How on earth did you not get tired. I was exhausted...well that is until you ran me into a river." He laughed once more before answering
"You would be very surprised at how long a wolf can run."
It was at the least two o'clock when we round the corner of the town square. In the square lied a statue of a great tree with many fruits. Our kingdom is known for our fruits and we supply three of the nearest kingdoms with them. The statue was made of copper was about eight feet tall. Next thing I know one if the young boys in the town, John, ran out of a crowded alley.
"Prue! Prue! Come quick you must see this!" He stopped in front of my panting after running. He was seven years of age and had brown hair.
"What is it John?" I asked curiously.
"Please come now!" He grabbed our hands and lead us to the crowd.
We had to push through the dozens of people there. When we finally got to the front of the crowd we all were...my mistake...John and I were tired. There before my very eyes laid Uncle Frank dead. I dropped down to my knees and began to sob. I covered my mouth to keep from screaming. There was blood all over him and his eyes were wide open. Daddy dropped down with me and hugged me tightly. At first he seemed to pay attention to me then held his head high. I looked at him strangely. He then looked at the body by the shoulder and twisted him on his side. Doing this revealed two bite marks deep in his neck.
"Vampires, I know that smell anywhere." Daddy whispered.
The crowd gasped with widened eyes."The vampires are back!" Cried a woman.
"They will turn all into one them." Said a teenage boy.
"Why here? Why now? Why that man?" Asked a man. I was wondering the same thing.
Just then I heard horses galloping toward us. We all looked upward. King Jeremiah had rode up to the scene with two other knights. One of them was Garreth and the other had a torch. He jumped off his white horse and walked up to the crowd.
"Does anyone here know not what happened? If so speak now."
I wanted to say something but could not get the words out.
"He was murdered...by vampires." Daddy spoke up and laid his body do for the king to see.
"Franklin O'harus, today a great warrior has fallen today. Did you know him?"
"Yes he..." Daddy paused not known what to say."He was my brother-in law."
The king took my uncle's arm and started to push on it. He did the same for his legs and stomach. Then there was a silence, a long, cold silence.
"We must burn the body."
I knew it. I knew it was for the best but could not accept it.
"What? No! Please no!" I was about to stand up but Daddy grabbed me quickly.
Garreth's face was covered by his hand. Neither one of us could stand to see this happen. At the king’s command the other knight hopped off his horse with his torch. I had to sit there and watch him burn. Burn to ashes. The sky poured out that day as if the world was weeping. Weeping over the loss of a great man.

Chapter 8: My Dearest Brother
Jane's POV
It was raining hard and I had a meeting to attend to soon. The caverns of Marklinberg were now darker than usual. I liked it. I am the leader of the Joksin Clan of vampires. I am Jane Ivory Hanmon and I am no ordinary vampire. I am a strigoi vampire. We are stronger, faster, better than your average vampire. The door opened and out came Henry the gate keeper.
"Madame Jane, Kendral is here." I asked him to tell me when he got here.
He is notorious for going and "playing" with the kingdom humans."Bring him to me. I must speak with him."
"Yes ma'am." I can never trust that man. Of course you can't truly trust anyone.
"You called me tweety bird?" He always walked in calling me that name. How I dread it.
"I was informed that you ran off to Yosermirg why?" He had that classic evil smirk. All of us seem to but is was special.
"I had some...business to tend to."
"Business? Kendal when you say business you can mean anything. Now what exactly were you up to?"
He smirked at the truth."Just visiting an old man who owed my some money that is all. No harm done."
"You are a lying bastard." I immediately blurted out."I can smell the blood in your teeth. Human blood."
"I told you it was just some old guy who needed to pay a debt he owed me." This man was always in denial when it came down to consequences. A good strategy in some cases."I will ask you again who was it?"
"Franklin O'harus why do you care."
That was when the world stopped. Anger boiled inside me,rage bubbled, and for a moment the room was silent. I lunged catching his throat in one hand."Why do I care? Why do I care?! You can not even begin to imagine!"
I threw him to the other side if the room. I ran to the opposite we of the room and quickly unlocked a hidden volt. This volt lies within the walls if the caverns. As soon as the volt opened I grabbed it. I grabbed the Wolf Glove. This glove is made of is made of thick leather and has the claws of the first lycanthrope. I turned to him as he was getting up.
"You will pay for your damn foolishness." I said while swifty walking over to him and putting on the glove.
"No! Please! Mercy!" I pressed the glove against his chest as he stood against the wall.
"You did not give my brother mercy did you?" I pushed my hand into his chest.
Blood splattered out everywhere as I searched for his heart. Kendal had fear in his face. Fear was something almost no vampire had bit when it meant death that is our fearful moment. I found his hard and plunged the lycan claws into it. At that moment his body slowly turned into ash and I watched. I walked back over to the other side of the room and at the glove back in place. After locking the volt I paced around the room.
"Oh Franklin." I mumbled to myself."I wish I could have said one last thing to you. How will Prudence get through the rest of her years without anyone?" I was worried for my daughter’s sake. I finally made my decision. I would go and see about my daughter.
